The Effect of Different Warm-Up Protocols on the Motor and Technical Skills of Handball Players in Sports Education

Warm-up programs in sports education can provide positive developments motor and technical skills. The objective of this study was to determine the acute effects ballistic, dynamic, static warm-up protocols on skills male handball players. Twelve players (mean age: 19.50±3.97 years) from second league Turkey participated voluntarily. were implemented for participants at same time three different days. At beginning study, height body masses measured. After each protocol, 9-m shot, over-the-block vertical jump, T agility, 20-m sprint, flexibility, flamingo balance tests conducted participants. normality level data determined by Shapiro-Wilk test using SPSS statistical program. While Repeated Measures ANOVA Bonferroni post hoc analysis applied with normal distribution, Friedman Wilcoxon signed-rank correction used non-normally distributed data. According our findings, there a significant difference between shooting (p < 0.05), while no found balance, or > 0.05). ballistic protocol provided improvements flexibility skills, dynamic yielded agility flexibility.
